I am sending you a quick report from an incredible animal rescue being led by our Animal Rescue Corps Team. I am at the ARC Emergency Shelter and Medical Center in Tennessee where more than 125 small and medium size dogs are being given care, affection and immediate medical attention.

 ARC began an undercover investigation weeks ago after receiving a tip from a concerned citizen.  The District Attorney's office took the concerns of animal cruelty seriously and acted swiftly.  At their request, the skilled members of the ARC Field Team were quickly assembled for this operation.  

Yesterday was a long day and the work continued into the early morning as we removed dogs from horrendous conditions: multiple dogs were kept together in small crates and wire cages, dogs who have not known care and affection, but instead loneliness, constant breeding, matted fur, high ammonia levels, serious medical conditions left untreated and worse.  

As the light failed and rain began to fall, ARC would not leave the property until every animal had been moved to safety and prioritized for medical attention. This is the reason I founded Animal Rescue Corps and I know you as a compassionate person believe in our work. That's why I'm asking now for your immediate support.     This rescue, like most, is going to be expensive.  We have estimated that the final cost will be more than $65,000. But how can anyone put a price on what it means to end the suffering and create a future for these precious lives?  Animal Rescue Corps has stretched our resources to make this rescue possible.  I am only able to do that because I know I can count on you.  Please show your support and help us save the lives of these animals today. You can be an integral part of this rescue. You can help to make sure that every one of these animals rescued today receives immediate medical attention, vaccinations and emergency treatment, if necessary.
